Press Guidelines
Media representatives must provide identification before receiving a session press pass (e.g. business card, letter of assignment and published samples of editorial/news work). ADA Media Relations reserves the right to limit the number of press badges issued to a media organization.
- Registration fees for working press are waived. Media Relations staff considers working press to be editorial staff of newspapers, magazines, medical and health care publications, broadcast outlets or Web-based media.
- A press badge allows media to attend news briefings, sessions and seminars. It must be obtained before attending news briefings, sessions and seminars be worn at all times
- Media may attend ticketed events depending on space. Ticket holders have priority for seating.
- ADA Media Relations staff must escort and accompany broadcast reporters to their intended interview or "shoot" on-site.
- Exhibitors are not ADA spokespersons and should not be identified as such in an interview.
- Exhibitors who wish to distribute materials for the media may do so at their booths. There is also a limited amount of table space for press kits in the Product Briefing Room area of the ADA Press Office.
- Any Press Office registrant, who sells, markets or represents a company for the purpose of obtaining advertising or subscriptions from any registrant or exhibitor immediately forfeits press credentials.
- Use of the Press Office is limited to those who are registered as media and to those ADA meeting participants who are invited by a reporter for an interview or are scheduled to participate in a press briefing.

Press Credential Request
The American Dental Association (ADA) welcomes members of the working press to register for its 149th Annual Scientific Session and Marketplace Exhibition, held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, San Antonio, Texas, October 16–19, 2008. To register for press credentials, please click the link below (the form will pop up in a new window so please disable any pop-up blockers).
Note: Press credentials will be picked up onsite. If you choose to register online, please bring a business card or some other form of ID.
