The ADA 23rd New Dentist Conference: Making Waves in Miami will be held April 30–May 2, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency in Miami, FL. Join the ADA Committee on the New Dentist for a weekend of networking, continuing education and camaraderie while savoring the tropical paradise around you. Attendees can earn up to 11 credit hours and have the opportunity to participate in special programming from the ADA-Pankey Education Connection including hands-on workshops to be conducted at The Pankey Institute.
Member dentists and dental students will receive promotional materials this fall and a conference brochure in early 2009.

Attendees can also take advantage of numerous networking opportunities such as the opening reception, the Friday night event and a Saturday morning networking breakfast. This year’s Friday night event will take place at Miami’s Jungle Island . This family-friendly event is complimentary and includes drinks and dinner, but registration is required. This special event is sponsored by the American Dental Political Action Committee.
Registration opens January 5, 2009. The $295 pre-conference registration fee for member dentists ($145 for member dental students) includes all pre-conference programming, two days of continuing education, breakfasts and lunches on May 1–2, as well as the April 30 opening reception and the May 1 evening event.
Early-bird registrants will be eligible for special prize drawings. Special rates apply for spouses, guests, and office staff and dental society staff.
At the time of registration, conference attendees can also purchase a complete set of CE course recordings for only $99 (a $100 savings). Recordings include audio and visual presentation and can be purchased on CD or as an MP3 file.
